The Refrigeration School, Inc. (RSI) located in Phoenix, Arizona, trains individuals in the fundamentals of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration (HVAC/R), electrical and welding. RSI’s training programs are designed based on industry feedback to meet employers’ needs and are taught by instructors who are experienced industry professionals. RSI promotes a student-centric environment to support individuals who are determined to achieve their goals.

Started in 1965 to train HVAC/R technicians, RSI has since added programs for electrical technologies, electro-mechanical technologies and welding to respond to the growing demand for entry-level electricians, facility maintenance technicians and welders.

The RSI campus, which is easily accessible from all parts of the Phoenix metropolitan area, includes two buildings with 21,000 square feet of classroom, lab, and support service facilities. An additional 5,400 square feet of outdoor shop area brings the total to over 26,000 square feet of training facilities.

Why RSI?

RSI’s training programs are hands-on and career-focused. Our HVAC/R training, for example, utilizes unique systems known as the E-STAR and M-STAR, which gives students the hands-on troubleshooting experience that sets our graduates apart. RSI’s instructors have the skill and industry experience necessary to equip students with the skills necessary for entry-level jobs in HVAC/R, electrical and welding.

Mission Statement
