The Refrigeration School, Inc offers a combination program that includes the
Electrical Technologies and Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating
Technologies courses. Graduates are prepared for entry level positions in
either industry, and are also qualified for jobs that require training in both
career fields.

Educational Objective
The objective of the Electro-Mechanical Technologies Course is to train and prepare students for entry
as service and maintenance technicians in the fields of Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration and also Maintenance Electricians. Current evidence suggests that a person cross-trained in related fields is in
demand by employers. In fact, some employers require cross training as a condition of advancement. Electro-Mechanical Technologies course offers such cross training, and that could mean more job
stability with faster upward mobility.

Electro-Mechanical Technologies graduates will complete the following for a diploma:
- Mechanical Principles
- Residential Wiring Applications
- Residential Air Conditioning
- Refrigeration Techniques
- Electrical Principles
- Commercial Wiring Techniques
- Advanced Air Conditioning Techniques
- Advanced Trouble-Shooting Techniques
NOTE: First academic year is concluded upon successful completion of
(24) semester credits and 30 weeks of training.
