RSI Celebrates Constitution Day
September 17th, 2011
On September 17, 1787 the delegates to the Philadelphia Convention completed and signed the United States Constitution. The Constitution is what makes our government unique in the world today.
The federal government has now enacted National Constitution Day to commemorate this historic event and has required all schools and federal institutions to provide information and education about the U.S. Constitution in a format of our choosing.
RSI recognizes the responsibility we all have to understand our nation and how our government was formed. At the same time we are sensitive to the needs of our students and have desired to keep interruptions of valuable class time to a minimum. As a result of this we have put together a collection of web links that provide a wealth of information about the U.S. Constitution, including the text itself. You will find these links below in ‘Related Links’ section.
We encourage you to visit these sites and share them with your family and friends.
