Getting Started Checklist

Follow our quick checklist to prepare for a career in HVAC

Your first contact to Refrigeration School Inc. could be the beginning of a rewarding and challenging journey. We beleive the quote by Scott Reed that...

"This one step - choosing a goal and sticking to it
- changes everything."

... that first contact can indicate you are in the process of choosing a goal and we are always excited to talk to you about your options. So when you contact us, here's what you should expect:

  1. Get More Information - Contact us with no obligation
You will begin with a conversation with one of our Admissions Representatives, who has the job of helping you decide if RSI is the right place for you. You may request more information or schedule an appointment to come in and meet with us. We always encourage you to schedule the interview, since that is the best way to get all the information you need! Our only campus is in Phoenix, Arizona and we do not offer online classes. If you are not within commuting distance you will need to consider your ability and resources for relocation during classes.

  2. Visit Our Classes - Witness our hands on training labs
During your visit, an Admissions Representative will answer all of your questions and provide you with any information you need. This is an opportunity to tap into the wealth of information we have to offer. You will also be able to tour our facilities and see what the classroom environment is like, assess the opportunity for hands-on training and get a "feel" for how our students are supported in the pursuit of their goals.

  3. You've Made Your Decision - Now we make sure enrollment goes smoothly
Should you decide to submit an application for enrollment, your Admissions Representative will help you with the paperwork and forms, help you decide which academic schedule and start date that is best for you, and schedule you for an appointment with a Tuition Planner. If you want to apply for any federal financial aid programs, please complete the FAFSA using school code 014127 and our tuition planners will help you finish the process. They can also help you set up payment schedules and explore all options available to you. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.

  4. We're Here To Help - You are our #1 priority
In a short time (usually a matter of a few days), your Admissions Representative will follow up with you to confirm your acceptance for classes, notify you of any "loose ends" that need to be taken care of and offer any continuing assistance to make your beginning of classes as smooth as possible. If you have any questions you wish to have answered before then, feel free to contact one of our Admissions Representatives.

  5. YOU START SCHOOL!
It's just that simple. All you have to do is choose a goal, decide to stick with it, and contact us!
