RSI Employer Testimonials

Bryan Crawford of Crawford Mechanical Services

When Bryan Crawford graduated from RSI in 1990, he knew he had found the right career. His father in law had graduated from RSI in its early days and had already shown Bryan through his career what could be accomplished. Bryan had some college background but because of his mechanical interest he chose to pursue a career in HVAC/R instead. After graduating from RSI, Bryan went to work for a hospital doing facilities maintenance and later for a data center. Realizing the lucrative prospects of data center operations, Bryan and his brother also an RSI graduate, started Crawford Mechanical Services in the 90’s from the ground up. Now Bryan is the co-owner of a lucrative business and has made his dreams a reality for himself and his family.

Rich Morgan

In 1987 Rich Morgan, owner of Magic Touch Mechanical, entered the HVAC industry on the East coast. As an apprentice Rich worked for a contractor that serviced plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliances, giving him a wide range of experience and knowledge of the business. In 1993, after having also worked in sheet metal fabricating and installing duct systems, he moved to Arizona and worked as a service technician for HVAC and plumbing companies. Like many in the industry, Rich decided to attend RSI in 1995 to gain more advanced technical knowledge and formal training.

Rich started Magic Touch Mechanical in 1997 and hasn’t looked back. After 12 years, Magic Touch employs an average of 25 employees with several million dollars in sales annually. He hasn’t stopped there though, Rich has since started 2 other companies and owns several residential and commercial properties. According to Rich, “Magic Touch and the two newest companies were made possible by my career choice in the HVAC industry.” Rich has worked closely with RSI’s Career Development Department over the years, and has often experienced times when all of his technicians were RSI graduates.
