At RSI of Phoenix AZ vocational school, we believe our students learn more from hands-on training than reading a book or listening to lectures. The STAR System was developed by the staffs at The Refrigeration School, Inc., who understand the meaning of hands-on troubleshooting and mechanical training experience in the classroom environment. To get this experience before the STAR was created; all training units had to be "pre-bugged" by instructors. Now things are different!
Now the instructor at our vocational school can program problems into a STAR Trainer in a few of seconds. Students use genuine test equipment, such as meters, to troubleshoot the systems and isolate the problems following established troubleshooting procedures. Once the problem is recognized, you can program in your solutions, and see if the unit will operate properly. If you make a wrong choice, STAR will not go on until the correct resolution is input. The outcome is that the troubleshooting repair cycle will take most students less than three minutes to fix. This is just one of the techniques we use to make sure that you get the quality of hands-on vocational training you need in a short period of time, and enter this career field as an HVAC/R service technician as soon as possible.
The Refrigeration School, Inc (RSI) of Phoenix, AZ offers not only HVAC vocational school training but also support in seeking financial aid and our Placement Assistance staff works with each graduate to find the right employment.
