Women in the Skilled Trades Scholarships (New)

The Women in Skilled Trades Scholarship Program is a need-based scholarship program that is designed to provide financial assistance to eligible female students with demonstrated financial need. For more information about this scholarship, please click the link.

 

PlumbersStock Video Scholarship Contest

RSI is pleased to announce their partnership with PlumbersStock on their Video Scholarship Contest.  This is a unique scholarship contest that is being offered to an elite group of students studying in the select fields of Plumbing, HVAC, Sprinkler, and/or Irrigation.  The contest is designed to help students gain real-world application experience while practicing their skills and abilities.  In addition to this, the program is geared to assist students in building up an exclusive item for their resume and job hunting. The Scholarship contest program is centered on creating a short How-To video that demonstrates skill, knowledge, and creativity.  This is one of the easiest and fun scholarship contests that you can enter to win.  There is a total of $3,000 in award money to be given away.  The specific details and requirements of the scholarship can be found here:  https://www.plumbersstock.com/page/scholarship/

 

RSI Tribal Scholarship

The Tribal Scholarship will award $2,000 towards any degree or diploma program.  This scholarship will be awarded and applied incrementally to the student’s account over the 2nd half of the 1st Academic Year of the Student’s program.

Candidates must be Native American, Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian.  At least one of the following forms are required for verification; Certification document of verification of Native Blood, Affidavit of Indian Blood, Birth Certificate, and Photo ID.  Candidates must meet all other admissions requirements and be scheduled to start training prior to applying for this scholarship.

Candidates must present required documentation at the time of enrollment with RSI.  Applications are to be submitted prior to starting classes. A change in the student’s start date may cause a forfeiture of the scholarship. Only one scholarship will be awarded per student (the one that is most beneficial).

 

Amity Native American Scholarship

The $4,500 Amity Native American Student Scholarship is designed to provide tuition assistance to eligible students who are of Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian descent, and have been or are currently enrolled at Amity Circle Tree Ranch.

Candidates must be Native American, Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian.  At least one of the following forms are required for verification; Certification document of verification of Native Blood, Affidavit of Indian Blood, Birth Certificate, and Photo ID.  Candidates must meet all other admissions requirements and be scheduled to start training prior to applying for this scholarship.

Amity Scholarship

The $1,500 Amity Scholarship is designed to provide tuition assistance to eligible students who have been or are currently enrolled at Amity Circle Tree Ranch.  Only the Electro-Mechanical Technologies or AOS in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering programs are eligible for this scholarship.

In order to be eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • be enrolled in a program at RSI;
  • be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident;
  • provide proof of enrollment (previous or current) at Amity Circle Tree Ranch with successful program participation for a minimum of seven months prior to enrollment at RSI;
  • provide positive let of recommendation/referral from Amity Circle Tree Ranch;
  • apply for all applicable state, agency, and/or federal student aid;
  • complete a Scholarship Request Form;
  • provide an essay (minimum of one page) explain why you are in need and deserving of this scholarship;
  • have no lapse in proper registration or break in attendance; and
  • maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

 

Most Deserving of an Opportunity Scholarship

This need-based scholarship program is designed to provide tuition assistance to eligible students with demonstrated financial need based upon their difference between available resources and funding eligibility relative to their educational costs.

Eligible students will demonstrate leadership, excellence of character, integrity, and respect for others; must be a US Citizen or permanent resident; demonstrate financial need as determined by the financial aid application process; write a brief essay.

 

STEG Foundation Scholarship Program

This need-based scholarship program is designed to provide tuition assistance to eligible students with demonstrated financial need based upon their difference between available resources and funding eligibility relative to their educational costs.

To be awarded the scholarship, students must:

  • be enrolled in one of our educational programs;
  • be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident;
  • have already completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);
  • be declared independent on the FAFSA, or if dependent, parents have been denied for a federal PLUS loan;
  • apply for all applicable state, agency, and/or federal student aid;
  • demonstrate financial need as determined by the financial aid application process;
  • have completed the financial aid process and been issue an award letter;
  • complete a Scholarship Request Form;
  • have no lapse in proper registration or break in attendance; and
  • maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress with 90% attendance and a “B” average.
